My comments:
The movies on this DVD (not a DVDr) are almost all of excellent picture quality (the 45 minute German TV-special, V and VI, certainly is). The compilers of this DVD claim that it "includes EVERYTHING that was ever shown on German TV about their 1966 tour (and even more)!" and I think they're right. There are several items I had never seen before; short snippets of their Essen and Hamburg concerts, excellent silent footage in colour and a programme which looks back on the early Hamburg days.
A truly excellent DVD!
I'd wish Apple would treat the video footage they have this way instead of bringing us a new DVD with 10 Ed Sullivan songs (the great 2 DVD set 'The four historic Ed Sullivan Shows featuring the Beatles' has all 20 performances) and only 3 tracks from the Washington D.C. 1964 concert...
The cover says:
"This is ONE in a series of TEN DVD's bringing you ALL of the TV-studio- and live-concert-telecasts as well as ALL the promo-clips that remain in the TV-archives 'round the world in chronological order and in the best-possible quality!"
